In some of our assignments it is a requirement. If that is the case, it will be clearly stated in the job ad.
Your CV, you contact details and a short text describing why you are applying for the job in question. If you are applying for a job where you think we may be interested in your portfolio, please attach that as well. If we need anything else, we will be sure to inform you.
It is important for us that your CV gives us an easy overview and that your experiences are in opposite chronological order (with your latest experience up top) and that you have spent time on your CV; that you have clear sections and titles etc. We also think it’s important that you explain why you are applying for the job in question. In your letter of application you give us an idea of who you are as a person, and what you believe you can contribute working for us.
We would prefer to contact you by phone. Due to the large amount of applications we receive, sadly this is not a possibility. Therefor, we often contact our applicants by e-mail. Regardless of how we do it, we will always try to keep you as updated as possible throughout the entire process.
We care about who you are, not what you wear. Our suggestion is that you wear something you feel comfortable in. Here at WorkShop we wear everything from jeans and t-shirt to a suit, so in other words there is no “wrong” way to dress.
Make sure to find a quiet spot where you can hear us properly. Have a good and stable internet connection and a working microphone and camera.
Everyone can get a bit nervous before an interview, and all of us who conduct the interview will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable. A suggestion to help you feel more prepared, is to read up on WorkShop and the position you are applying for. Think about if you have any questions you would like to ask us, the interview is the perfect time to ask them. Also think about how you want us to perceive you, is there something you don’t want us to miss? Something you want to enhance? Seize the opportunity during the interview!
